I am working with an exciting and very creative marketing agency who are looking to build their finance team! The business is currently growing and therefor they are in need of an Assistant Accountant to be a key member of the team and Finance department.
The role will report into an Operations Manager and due to the SME environment, will be responsible for a large range of tasks, including, but not limited to; full responsibility of accounts receivable and accounts payable, intercompany and client billing, expenses and payroll, VAT returns and other ad-hoc tasks. There is room to grow in this opportunity and the agency would be looking to give the candidate further responsibilities such as Management Accounts/P&Ls and more.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role and be comfortable with AR and AP and had some experience with month end duties. Due to the nature of the business, my client would love to see candidates from small businesses so they can understand the operations of the finance department. Previous experience of Xero will be beneficial.
