Executive to Chief Creative Officer – Creative Agency!
Exciting, Advertising agency in Central London, are looking for a top class Executive Assistant to support the Chief Creative Officer. Based in an award winning department, this role will involve two distinct elements – Executive Assistance to the Chief Creative Officer, and the Creative Department Manager. As such, you will be busy acting as a lynchpin for the team while remaining a trusted pair of hands for your Exec. Day to day, your all-encompassing EA role will involve all traditional duties including diary, travel and meeting management. You will oversee your Execs inbox, correspond on their behalf and manage all meetings. You will be the person who ensures the CCO is fully armed with all information and is able to do their job seamlessly. You will act as the eyes and ears for the Creative Department ensuring workload is managed effectively and intelligently. As the Creative team are introvert and introspective during their creative thought, it is important to effectively pull information from your execs in a proactive way. You should be confident in sitting them down and dissecting the diary changes and cannot be shy in managing-up. You should also be intuitive and insightful, able to read a room and know if meetings need to be rescheduled based on ongoing observation of your exec and their ever-changing needs. The team are incredibly friendly and a great bunch, so over time you will build solid and long lasting relationships. In addition to the EA element you will also be the Department Manager, coordinating events & meetings, working closely with HR on work experience and internships, managing appraisals and generally being the lynchpin of the Team. This is a big and varied role that you can make your own!
To be considered for this role, you must have 5 years+ EA experience working in a creative agency with an understanding of the nuances of how creatives work. You should be a level-headed EA with gravitas and the ability to work closely with C-suite level Executives. You must be totally discreet and trustworthy with high EQ and should be used to working in a quieter environment within an agency as the Creatives require thinking space.
