Senior L&D Advisor – V&A Museum
£38K - £42K plus Fantastic benefits
Hybrid Working - Full time (36 hours per week) or part time (22 hours per week)

Impact Creative Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client, the prestigious V&A Museum to evolve their learning and development offering with a Senior L&D Advisor opportunity.  Joining at an exciting time of growth and positive change, as they expand with two new sites in East London. 

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design with approximately 1000 headcount. The V&A holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewelry, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre, and performance.

Reporting to the Talent & Skills Manager, who in turn reports directly to the People & Change Director, we have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Learning & Development Advisor to join the team.

You will partner with stakeholders on TNA to develop, design and deliver L&D interventions.  With a remit to both create new and evolve existing content across the breadth of the client group, programmes will include:-

-        line management
-        leadership readiness
-        coaching and mentoring
-        departmental specific skillsets
-        Technology and Safety 

You’ll approach learning and development programmes through an ED&I lens , aligned to the V&A’s core values, and employ a range of techniques including eLearning development, in-person delivery and management of external facilitators , to create bespoke and blended programmes.

You’ll have a passion for understanding data and reporting on learning programme effectiveness and provide guidance on Learning and Development project development, including early careers.

With the Talent and Skills Manager, you will have responsibility for supporting development of a fantastic team of 3 L&D specialists and will bring a coaching style to management and development.  With a passion to continually learn, you will bring the latest learning methodologies and approaches to the role.

This superb role requires previous L&D Advisor / Partner experience gained within a complex, fast paced organisation.  You’ll bring a strategic approach to programme design, creativity in solutions and a blended learning toolkit, with experience working across all levels of an organisation, including senior leadership.

You will have incredible communication skills and creative presentation delivery and strong stakeholder management.  All this, combined with previous line management experience and a passion for the arts and all that the beautiful V&A offers.
