I am currently working with a creative and worldwide communications Agency who are seeking a WIP / Billings Assistant to join their dynamic finance team on a 3 month fixed term contract. The agency have some impressive clients and projects associated with them and are looking for a confident finance professional to join them in their offices in Central London.
The role is directly responsible for the billing and WIP of their clients and will ensure that best practice is applied to all the agencies’ business transactions.
The successful WIP Assistant will organise timely billing to clients on a regular basis in line with client processes and where necessary, chase outstanding PO’s with account teams and bill fees and costs in a timely manner keeping in line with agreed contract.
Alongside the mentioned duties there will be an element of WIP management, this will mean ensuring that regular meetings with client teams are completed, working with accounts teams to alert them of any overspends/issues, timely invoicing of all third party costs and reconciliations.
Credit Control will also be a part of the role, regular review of the debtors to identify any outstanding invoices and weekly review of the debtors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and immediately available WIP candidate to work within an amazing agency! The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum 1-2 years’ biller / WIP experience / Sales Ledger within an agency, has an understanding Maconomy and will need strong Excel Skills.
