If you’re in town today, be sure to take a close look at some of London’s most famous statues. They’re wearing hats!

For four days, the city is a catwalk of hats for Hatwalk, an event which celebrates London’s creativity and heritage.

Some of the UK’s and indeed the world’s top milliners including Stephen Jones and Philip Treacy have created custom-made hats for the likes of King George IV and General Sir Henry Havelock.

There are 20 statues in all, within easy (hat) walking distance of each other. To find out where you can spot these hats click below.

Hatwalk is part of Surprises, a series of free, secret performances this summer. Visit www.molpresents.com/surprises to find out more.
