What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
International Women’s Day means to me day everyone has to appreciate women our struggles and accomplishments and our amazingness.
As a career women yourself, do you feel you have had to fight harder to get where you are today?
Being a women who’s had children and still is very career driven, my fight harder than many, juggling both lives and having to be on my “A” game when I get into work after and a great mother.
How do you feel the media and creative industry treats women?
People tend to hire people who are like them. I think that’s part of what goes on, which isn’t right as creatives are all different !
What would you like to see companies do to ensure more gender parity?
Equal pay is a huge issue in terms of gender parity, I would like to see that addressed.
What advice would you give to women ambitious for a great career?
Don’t be scared, work hard, grab every opportunity and don’t let anyone intimidate you!
