We are delighted to welcome Oli as a Consultant in the Support Team here at Impact. He is an experienced recruiter, and will be managing roles across the full spectrum of Support. Already, he has been a true pleasure to work alongside and we have no doubt he will be a huge asset to the team and to Impact’s clients.
We asked Oli for his thoughts on his first few days with us…
Tell us about your experience?
I was previously working at a Rec2rec Start-up company, specialising in placing graduates into recruitment roles. Before this I worked as an English teacher in Madrid for 2 years after having studied a BA in French and Spanish at the University of Manchester.
Why did you choose Impact?
I registered with Impact as a candidate before moving to Spain in 2016 and felt such a good energy from them. It’s hard to find a recruitment agency which has strong values at the centre of what they do. Impact really goes against the grain and cares about their employees, candidates and clients and also gives back to the community. LOVE the offices too 🙂
How have your first few days gone?
They’ve gone really well. I have been learning about what goes on behind the scenes at Impact seeing how the different divisions collaborate with each other and getting to know the team who have welcomed me so nicely. The easiest transition into a new company I’ve had to date!
How would you describe the culture and working environment?
Friendly, people-focused and forward-thinking.
Having joined as Consultant on our Support Division, what type of ‘impact’ do you hope to make?
I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and making an impact by matching some great talent to some amazing opportunities within the media / creative sector.
