What do kids want more than presents at Christmas? The chance to meet the man in red himself. Check out our list of the top ten Santa’s Grottos in London and make their wishes come true this Christmas.

The Grotto of all Grottos – Harrods  is a number one favourite at Cool Mum Hunting HQ – the perfect way to get the festive season off to a magical start. Every child who meets Father Christmas will be given a gift and have their chance to share their Christmas wish list with him.

This Christmas is truly going to be special at Westfield London. Westfield London’s Grotto is the UK’s first to have a 5D film and each child’s name and picture will feature in the film, as Elbow the Elf saves Christmas.

The best thing about meeting Santa at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park   is – IT’S FREE! Santa will be opening his grotto every day from 10am to 6pm. Entry is free and Santa will have a gift for children who’ve been good! Run on a first-come first-served basis.  Beware though – it can get very busy so make sure you leave enough time.

The famous Hamleys  Christmas breakfast is a truly magical experience for all the family – an unusual and charming variation on the Christmas grotto theme. Each little one has a chance to meet Santa, and receive a small gift to take home with them.

Another hit at Cool Mum HQ as this grotto, at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, is FREE and each child receives a gift from Santa – the perfect excuse to drag the kids shopping!

Children and adults alike will be able to meet the man himself in his magical Lapland Grotto at the Duke of York Square. The Grotto is open Saturdays and Sundays from the 10th November and then Wednesdays through to Sundays throughout December up until 23rd.

We love nothing better than meeting Santa and his REINDEER! Kids will get the chance to meet Rudolph himself as well as hours of festive fun with loads of things for all the family at Willows Farm. Kids can write a letter to Santa in the elves house, take part in the reindeer hunt and watch the nativity play.

Come and visit Santa at his winter lodge, a custom-designed grotto built in the fairytale setting of ZSL London Zoo‘s memorial gardens -and also visit London’s very own reindeer herd!

Get into the festive mood at London Wetland Centres Winter Wonderland weekend! Children will be thrilled to hop aboard for a husky sleigh ride and to visit Santa in his grotto. We also love that they offer wine tasting for adults and a chance to do some last minute Christmas shopping – every cloud…

Christmas at Canary Wharf  would not be complete without a visit to Santa in his new grotto in Jubilee Place. Santa will be in residence every weekend throughout December and during the final week before Christmas.
